Race Across the World Season 03 Episode 02 Description
The race continued from Tlell in the Haida Gwaii archipelago to former gold rush town of Dawson City almost 2000km to the north, in the Yukon.[10]
At the start of the second leg, all five teams had to backtrack to Prince Rupert on the mainland using almost the same means of transport as they had used to reach Tlell. With only a matter of minutes separating their restart they all arrived on the mainland on the same ferry at the same time on Day 10, and at this point the race recommenced in earnest.
Tricia and Cathie feeling the need to be in control, take a bus to Terrace and then immediately hire a car to Whitehorse but stop en route in Jade City to work dismantling an old shack for free bed and board as they have no tent. Marc and Michael also resort to car rental from Terrace, but take a detour to go rafting at Haines Junction on the Dezadeash River before continuing to Whitehorse.
The other three teams rely entirely on hitching lifts with vehicles travelling north. Monique and Ladi secure rides all the way to Whitehorse but stop en route at Bear Glacier Provincial Park to take in its breathtaking beauty.
Zainib and Mobeen are the first into the Yukon territory but go on a detour to Burwash Landing to work cleaning a light aircraft in exchange for a flight in it over Kluane National Park. With funds dwindling, Claudia and Kevin also decide to take a job, cleaning at some kennels for free bed, board and sauna! Both teams find themselves at the same fuel stop outside of Whitehorse trying to hitch a lift northwards.

The show tests the limits of human endurance and showcases the resilience of the human spirit in the face of extreme adversity.
Format and Challenges
The format of “Naked and Afraid Solo” is similar to that of the original show, with contestants dropped off in remote locations and forced to fend for themselves. They must find food, water, and shelter, all while dealing with extreme weather conditions and dangerous wildlife. The challenges are even more intense in the solo version of the show, as contestants must rely solely on their own skills and resources to survive.
