The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 continues with more fun and surprises as the ladies head to Birmingham, Alabama, to watch Kenya Moore’s surprise halftime performance at the Magic City Classic football game. The episode also features some drama and tension between Shereé Whitfield and Kenya Moore over Martell Gilliams’ cheating allegations.
The episode begins with Kenya Moore inviting the ladies to Birmingham under the guise that they are there to experience the Magic City Classic, the country’s biggest HBCU (Historically Black College and Universities) football game. The game is played between Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University and attracts spectators and fans from all over. However, Kenya has a secret plan to perform with the dance team at the halftime show, hoping to create a viral moment for her haircare line.
Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss stays behind in Atlanta as she is being honored on Ebony’s Power 100 List. She also tries to mend her relationship with her mother Mama Joyce, who made some harsh comments about Todd Tucker at BravoCon. Kandi invites her mother to lunch and tells her how hurt she was by her insults. Mama Joyce apologizes and says that she loves Kandi and Todd and that she was just joking.
The episode also features some appearances by former housewives DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu, who join the ladies for a yoga session and a lunch.
