The Bachelorette Season 20 episode 1 is the first episode of the 20th season of The Bachelorette, a reality television show that features Charity Lawson, a 27-year-old child and family therapist, as the lead. The episode aired on June 26, 2023, on ABC.
The episode showed Lawson meeting the 25 men who arrived in limousines to greet her at the Bachelor mansion. Some of the men made memorable entrances, such as Chris Spell, who did a backflip; Caleb Balgaard, who revealed his profession as a pro wrestler; and Warwick Reider, who sang a song for Lawson.
The episode also had a surprise twist when Lawson’s brother Nehemiah Lawson showed up as a bartender to spy on the men and give his sister his opinions. He later revealed himself at the cocktail party and told Lawson that he was concerned about Brayden Bowers, a travel nurse who seemed too confident.
Lawson decided to give Brayden the first impression rose after he explained that he was just nervous and excited to meet her. She also handed out roses to 17 other men and eliminated seven men.
The episode ended with a preview of the upcoming season, which teased more dates, drama, and romance.
