Taskmaster New Zealand is a comedy game show where five Kiwi comedians compete in a series of bizarre and hilarious tasks, judged by the all-powerful Taskmaster Jeremy Wells and his loyal assistant Paul Williams. The show is based on the original British version created by Alex Horne in 1997. The show is broadcast on TVNZ 2 and has four seasons so far.
The contestants for the fourth season are Bubbah, Dai Henwood, Karen O’Leary, Melanie Bracewell, and Ray O’Leary. They are challenged to perform various tasks that test their creativity, logic, and skills, such as leaving New Zealand, improving Paul, making a windmill, and being British. The tasks are often absurd, unpredictable, and funny, and the contestants have to use their wit and imagination to complete them. The Taskmaster awards points to the contestants based on their performance, and the contestant with the most points at the end of the season wins a trophy and the title of Taskmaster NZ Champion.
