• The season is set to premiere on Sunday, 17 August 2025 at 7:00 PM on Network 10, following the conclusion of MasterChef Australia

• This edition is a special all-stars crossover featuring 14 contestants—seven Australians facing off against seven international Survivor legends—for a condensed, high-stakes 16-day competition

Location & Prize

• Filmed in Samoa, set against island backdrops instead of the typical 40+ days of gameplay associated with Australian Survivor

• The winner will take home a AUD $250,000 grand prize

Host Transition

• Jonathan LaPaglia hosts the season for the final time after nearly a decade on the show. His departure was announced as a surprise “host swap” to shake things up amid recent ratings pressures

• LaPaglia described his exit as the “craziest blindside,” while Network 10 acknowledged his contributions—citing the need for a fresh direction
