Race Across the World Season 04 Episode 04 Description
The teams are starting from the third checkpoint in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It’s the end of the Cambodian national holiday, Pchum Ben – meaning Ancestors’ Day – and the teams have a chance to receive a blessing and pay respects to loved ones. Then the remaining pairs must leave the checkpoint and travel 1,400 kilometres through Thailand, one of the most visited countries in the world, to the Shan Highland that straddle the Thai-Myanmar border, where the fourth checkpoint is situated in the sleepy mountain town of Mae Sariang.
To reach the checkpoint, the teams must first circumnavigate the Tonle Sap Lake and decide whether to head west, taking on potentially faster routes, or opt for the eastern route, where lies Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat. But from there it’s a journey back in time through Thailand’s rural eastern provinces, and a longer and circuitous route rarely travelled by backpackers.

Naked and Afraid Solo Show Description
Introduction and Concept
“Naked and Afraid Solo” is a spinoff of the popular TV show “Naked and Afraid”, which follows two strangers as they attempt to survive in the wilderness for 21 days with no food, water, or shelter. In “Naked and Afraid Solo”, contestants face the same survival challenges but with one key difference – they are completely alone. The show tests the limits of human endurance and showcases the resilience of the human spirit in the face of extreme adversity.
Format and Challenges
The format of “Naked and Afraid Solo” is similar to that of the original show, with contestants dropped off in remote locations and forced to fend for themselves. They must find food, water, and shelter, all while dealing with extreme weather conditions and dangerous wildlife. The challenges are even more intense in the solo version of the show, as contestants must rely solely on their own skills and resources to survive.
Impact and Takeaways
“Naked and Afraid Solo” offers more than just entertainment value. The show demonstrates the importance of self-reliance and the power of the human spirit. Contestants face incredible physical and mental challenges, and viewers are treated to inspiring displays of strength and determination as they push themselves to the limit.
