• Broadcast Pattern: During Blind Auditions, episodes air three nights weekly (Sun–Tue), then shift to weekly Battles, Knockouts, and Live Shows format later in the season

New Coaching Line-up:

• Melanie C (Sporty Spice) – making her coaching debut on the Australian version; brings decades of pop experience and energy to Team Melanie

• Richard Marx – Grammy-winning songwriter and vocalist, mentoring Australian talent for the first time on national TV

• Ronan Keating – returning after a nine-season hiatus, previously coached in 2016; brings international pop star stature once again to the red chair

• Kate Miller-Heidke – the only returning coach from Season 13; Australian singer-songwriter known for blending pop-opera and indie sounds

Host:

• Sonia Kruger returns as host for her ninth season, guiding contestants and viewers through the competition’s twists and emotional moments

Format & Rule Changes

• Blind Auditions: Coaches build teams of 10 artists each, using the standard Block (once per coach per contestant) and the new Ultimate Block—which automatically assigns the artist to the blocker’s team, blocking all other coaches’ pitches. Blocks can be used during another coach’s pitch as long as they’ve pressed their button

• Viewer Voting: In keeping with recent seasons, the winner will be determined via a public vote during the live show phase, concluding in October

• Filming Location: Production takes place at Carriageworks in Eveleigh, Sydney—a world-class studio set up for large-scale entertainment filming
