Biscuit and Bar Week
Nine bakers hope that bite-sized treats are their cup of tea, as they enter Biscuit and Bar Week. Starting with the Signature Bake, the bakers create Meringue Bars featuring a cookie base and a set filling of their choice. The pressure (cooker) is on when the Technical Challenge takes the bakers to South America with Alfajores, crumbly butter cookies sandwiched around dulce de leche. Then, for the show stopper, the bakers must tell a story using only cookies with their whimsical Fairy Tale Scene. After inspecting and sampling each bake, the judges select this week’s Star Baker and announce which baker must say goodbye.
