picked up with Kassy’s decision to recouple with Leo again. He was so happy he admitted that he couldn’t stop smiling. This left Johnnie to choose between Scott van-der-Sluis and Matia. She went with Scott, which sent Matia packing. Later, Johnnie admitted it hurt her feelings when Kassy chose Leo, but she understands her decision because she thinks Kassy and Leo are magnetic and will always find their way back to each other.
Kassy and Leo chatted at the infamous Soul Ties, where Kassy told her partner he still has to work hard to prove himself to her. She then admitted she’s still in love with him, which he loved hearing. He promised he would never hurt her again. She later told the female islanders Leo still has to prove she can trust him, but she does believe he has changed for the better. Johnnie, who previously said she was proud of Kassy for not going back to Leo, told her she thinks she’s brave for giving Leo another chance.
Meanwhile, Isiah “Zay” Harayda told the male islanders his connection with Imani feels more like a friendship. However, later in the episode, Imani told the female islanders that she really likes Zay and thinks they have a great connection. Next, the male islanders headed to the grocery store to buy ingredients to cook for the female islanders. While they were eating dinner, which the female Love Island USA contestants really enjoyed, they reflected on their experience at the villa and expressed their gratitude for the friendships they’ve made and how much they’ve evolved since day one at the villa.
