They task our creatives with the demanding assignment of recreating Audrey Hepburn’s iconic little black dress from Breakfast at Tiffany’s – an emblem of timeless glamour. The chosen garment requires an immaculate fit in the bodice, paired with a meticulously executed cut to mimic the elegance of Hepburn herself.
Shifting gears to the Transformation Challenge, our sewers find inspiration closer to home. This round spotlights our very own fashion icon and judge, Esme Young, and her pioneering work with the distinctive fashion label, Swanky Modes. It pays homage to their audacious and unique range of garments crafted from unconventional materials such as shower curtains – a bold move that caught the eye of legendary fashion photographer Helmut Newton, landing them a coveted feature in Nova magazine.
